See what I did there? When former guitar god Edward Van Halen came out with a line of shoes recently, I was disgusted. These shoes are ugly and really, who is his audience anymore? A bunch of 40 year-old men? A 40 year old man wearing these things should get punched in the face. Anyway, why bring this piece of old news up? Because I saw these for the first time today:
Now, I know what you are thinking, these are the second ugliest shoes ever to appear on this blog. And I would have to agree with you, but damnit if I just don't love them anyway. I would never own them, but I am jealous of those who would throw on their Dharma jumpsuit and lace these babies up.
No, they wouldn't be able to wear them to work, fry grease would mess them up, but they would provide killer traction for climbing those basement steps...

Oh Sheri, you are showing your Lost ignorance... It is a reference that would take too long and you would still be WTF? at the end.
That is of course the big problem with these shoes, 99% of the people who would see them on you would be like "hey stupid, are you afraid you would forget what a shoe was?"
That and all of the short busses stopping to try to take you to school...
